Makhuwa (also Makua, Macua, Central Makhuwa, Emakhuwa-Makhuwana, Emakua, Makhuwa-Makhuwana, Makhuwwa of Nampula, Makoane or Maquoua) Fonts

Makhuwa is a Bantu language written using the Latin alphabet. The orthography (system of writing) used for Makhuwa is based on the Latin alphabet, but it has been adapted to better represent the sounds of the Makhuwa language. This includes the use of special characters and diacritical marks to represent certain sounds that are not found in the standard Latin alphabet.

The Makhuwa language has a relatively simple orthography, which makes it relatively easy to learn how to read and write in Makhuwa.
