Irish Fonts

Irish fonts offered by Fontfabric are designed to support Irish orthography and text.

Diacritical marks have common use in Irish orthography and include the fada (á, é, í, ó, ú), which is a line placed above a vowel to indicate a long vowel sound, and the séimhiú (bh, ch, dh, fh, gh, mh, ph, th), which is a dot placed above certain consonants to indicate that they are pronounced as lenited consonants. Common ligatures include the letters ae, oe, and ui, which are combined into single glyphs.
